Last night I hosted a little garden shindig for some of the important women in my life, everyone from my best friend to my nan was there! Continue reading
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’d know that I’d been veggie for three years however within the last 6 months have began eating fish as I felt I was ‘missing’ something from my diet. I’ve also dabbled in and out of veganism… it’s safe to say I’m confused about food… Continue reading
“When I first read the word, ‘nutritional yeast’, I thought GROSSSSS”
This recipe was inspired by the b-e-a-utiful Niomi Smart, lifestyle vlogger, blogger and plant-based guru. I got her book, ‘Eat Smart’ for Christmas and i’m slowly making my way through her vegan recipes which get better and better. Continue reading
Before moving to London back in September, despite our busy lives, most evenings would end with me and mum in the kitchen together dancing, laughing, cooking or chatting – something I miss everyday…

I was tagged in a video on the Nando’s Facebook page earlier in the week and couldn’t believe how simple yet amazing the recipe being promoted looked. As a big fan of the veggie range at Nando’s I though i’d give it a go at home.
At the moment, this is one of my favourite meals to cook on those days where you’re feeling the effects of busy, city, student life and in need of a bit of comfort food. Another plus side of this recipe is the fact it’s vegan*, even the garlic bread… Continue reading
This is my recipe for a batch of chocolatey heaven, raw coconut and chocolate brownies. The recipe is very similar to my ‘energy balls’ recipe, inspired by the beautiful Deliciously Ella. If you’ve read my ‘New Years Resolutions’ post you’ll know that in transition to a plant-based diet, giving up chocolate was one of my weaknesses. Besides being delicious, the fantastic thing about these brownies is that they provide you with long lasting release of energy unlike a crash which follows your standard chocolate bar…
My food shop for the week consists of a lot of fresh veg and consequently I have to use it all up fairly quickly. This recipe is a fantastic way of using up all the veg in your fridge before it goes off. It’s very important to not waste food, especially on a student budget… Continue reading
I first heard about the ‘energy ball’ food-fashion in the early months of 2016 when food bloggers such as Deliciously Ella and Clean Eating Alice started to create the tasty little superfood snacks. Since, the craze has exploded all over the likes of Pinterest and eventually I just had to make them to see what all the fuss was about…
